We specialise in developing structural solutions to protect buildings during earthquake events. Our performance-based seismic design work includes non-linear modelling techniques that capture as tested structural behaviour. We also employ international best practice engineering principles to deliver detailing that is appropriate to the region. OES is currently engaged with Swinburn University in a research partnership to extend the global understanding and knowledge of advanced design procedure for lateral actions. This research will inform emerging codes and fundamentally change the construction methodology of reinforced concrete (RC) building cores.
